boltTLDR
Google has launched a reporting feature allowing users to flag owner responses to reviews for violations like profanity, harassment, discrimination, or personal information disclosure.
Google Business Profiles and Google Local now include a "Report owner response" option that lets users flag business owner replies to reviews for being off-topic, profane, harassing, discriminatory, or containing personal information, among other violations. The feature was first spotted by Vinay Toshniwal and later Amy Toman on LinkedIn, per SERoundtable's reporting, addressing a long-standing gap in moderation as business responses have occasionally included unprofessional content ranging from inappropriate comments to sensitive data exposure.
