TLDR

Google is testing household income exclusion options in Performance Max campaigns, allowing advertisers to filter users by income bracket at the campaign level.

Search Engine Land reports that Google is rolling out a new feature enabling Performance Max advertisers to exclude specific household income segments directly at the campaign level. The exclusion options span from the top 10% of earners down to the lower 50%, plus an "unknown" category, giving brands in luxury goods, financial services, and premium sectors greater audience control while preserving Google's AI-driven optimization. The feature was first spotted by PPC expert Thomas Eccel in a European Performance Max campaign.
