Google Rolls Out AI Performance Insights Beta for Merchant Center Accounts

Google Merchant Center is rolling out a beta AI Performance report that tracks how products appear in conversational AI results and AI Overviews. The pilot is currently limited to select US accounts but will expand to Australia, Canada, India, and New Zealand in coming months, per SERoundtable. The new dashboard includes metrics such as share of voice, competitor averages, query frequency, and query type, accessible via the Analytics section of Merchant Center.
